Today I am praying for love and strength. My son bit his lip this morning and he had a lot of blood and it worries me to see him like that because he's only a baby. I'd like to have more children, but my wife has made it clear that this is the only one we will have. Today my wish is to be relaxed and competent and a leader under pressure. My goal for this year is to have abundance.

I have been informed that I need to substitute for a class that has high emotions and somewhat unstable. That on top of Lunch duty and receess duty and the possibility of indoor recess in the gym is making me somewhat panicked. But the good news is that I have been informed of this situation and I can work out what I need to do to have success in all areas of the day. I will not let my basketball injury keep me from doing my job and doing it well. I can use the high emotions and high energy to get students to work with me and get results and be kind to each other. I ask God to give me the strength and wisdom to do what I need to do and know what I need to do and let me do it with ease and with understanding and love. Help me to teach children and to get them to laugh and enjoy me being their guide today.

ELASTIC

Today's goal is to make the people I see feel lucky to have me in their life. This week's goal is to give gifts to others that keep them safe and make them happy to be alive. This year my goal is to empower myself by being a black belt and have dolphin rides in Florida. I plan to be flexible with whatever comes my way, like an elastic band. What a wonderful way to live life: being able to roll with whatever comes along and make it into something beautiful and fun and eventful. Be flexible.
The longer you endure, the greater the reward will be in the end. I am so grateful for all the things I have in my life. I've snapped back from my problems like a rubber band.

This year I want to swim with the dolphins and travel to Hawaii and attain my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Instead of worrying about adversity, I want to Hop over it. My life can be sweet if I just use my senses to guide me in the right direction.

Yeepah! Remember Speedy Gonzalez? Not enough people say "Yeepah." Which is a fun sounding word. I definitely feel like saying Yeepah because I did so well on my History Test. Today I want to be friendly with people and engage others in conversation and make friends. This week I want to set up a nice Christmas Tree in our living room. This year I want to get my second degree black belt and swim with the dolphins. I really feel that after passing my History Test that doors are open to me. I am one step closer to teacher certification and one step closer to increasing my salary. I am continuing to achieve goals and I feel great about it. Yeepah!

NEWS

Today I want to have joy and appreciation and have others applaud my good work. This week I want to ace my history exam and hang a beautiful Christmas tree in our living room. This year I want to get my second degree black belt and swim with the dolphins. I feel nervous about my exam and if I were to fail it, I would feel like a failure and I'd have to come home with my head hanging down. So I ask the universe to give me the knowledge and the strength to do well on this exam bring me good news. It's always good to try something new and do the best you can. We can learn from every situation no matter what it is.

OVERCOME

Today I want to have joy and understanding with all the people I come across. This week I want to celebrate my family and friends around this holiday season, and this year I want to attain my second degree black belt and find new opportunities to travel and have adventures with my family. I have to say I am concerned about this U.S. history exam coming up, although I have studied quite a bit for it and I can name every U.S. president in order from 17th- 44th, I still feel concerned because I don't know what kinds of questions they'll throw at me. Maybe they'll do 10 questions on Jacob Riis, who knows. Anyway, I pray to God that I can Overcome this trial and get an awesome score on this exam. Plesae give me the strength to overcome this obstacle and attain success for myself and my family.
