NOURISHMENT

Finding nourishment for your life is important. It's important to move away from the painful events in your life and move towards the joy that you deserve. Keeping your body healthy and keeping the relationships with the people around you strong builds momentum for your life. No one is sure how long we have on this earth and the important thing in life is to focus on the love that surrounds you. Focus on where you want to go in your life. Do what you love and focus on the joy you will get when you receive that goal. Don't focus on the fear because this will keep you from getting what you really want. "What brings nourishment to your life?" "What do you need to do to create more nourishment for your life?" Are you doing things that are adding more love to your life? Are you proud of the work you do? Are you helping others? Fill yourself up with the love God is giving to you. If you focus on the love of your family and friends, then you will receive more of that love in your life. You can attract great people into your life when you focus on the things in life that nourish your heart and soul. Feel good about what you have accomplished in your life and let people feel that love that is in your heart.

ENJOYMENT

Enjoyment: The act of enjoying

What gives us the most enjoyment?
I believe that enjoyment comes from being in the moment and sending love to all those around you. If you are not including others in your joy, then you are not getting the most out of the enjoyable activity. One enjoyable activity that I take part in is teaching kids to sail. I work with kids and teach them about how to work with the wind and to use the wind currents to guide their boats back to the waterfront. This is a great way to enjoy myself. Sometimes its fun to have time for myself as well. Today I had some extra help and didn't have as many kids to work with, so I went out sailing on a Sunfish. This was a rare opportunity and I made sure to take advantage of it. I got to the Sunfish and hoisted the sail and just went out on the water. It was so relaxing and refreshing that it recharged my battery. It's important to find time to do things that you love and remember these moments so that they can help you through the boring parts or the high pressure situations. What can be better than relaxing on the water letting the cool breeze guide you across the lake. Yes, it is important to work on your goals, but its important to find time for yourself and enjoy the journey.

REALITY

Reality. What is your reality? The problems in life occur when reality does not match our expectations. When we expect things to go a certain way and they don't we get upset. We say things like "He makes me so angry" or "She gets me so frustrated." The truth of the matter is no one makes you do anything. No one can make you feel anything. Things just happen. Life happens and we make decisions about how we plan on feeling about those events.

Brilliance: The quality or state of being brilliant. *The Brilliance of a diamond.

NURTURING

Nurture: To supply with nourishment, educate, further the development of.
Nurturing is something we all need from time to time. Teachers should nurture their students creatively and parents should nurture their children. If you want your flowers to grow, you have to carefully nourish your seed with water and sunshine and proper soil. If you want to live a happy, healthy life, you need to nurture yourself with education and affection and kindness. "How do we Nurture our lives to get the things that we want?" "What kind of a life do we want to live and how do we nurture our lives to get those things into our lives?" We need to realize that their is an abundance of things that we want and that we don't need to take advantage of others to get it. We have to trust that if the things we desire are truly things that we should have and things that we need in our lives, we can get them. As a parent, I feel that I must nurture my child so that he may grow up to live the dreams in his heart. I want him to succeed in each of his undertakings, but I know that we all have obstacles to overcome and we all need to persevere to achieve our goals.

AFFECTION

Affection: A tender feeling towards another or a fondness. Imagine what our lives would be like if we felt a feeling of fondness towards everyone we met. It's easy to have tender feelings for family members. I certainly feel affection for my wife and my son, but its not so easy to feel that way towards people who have wronged you in the past, (or people who you think have wronged you). If every morning we woke up and felt affection for our job and for learning new skills and affection towards our co-workers, think how much more juice we would get out of life. Here's my question for the day: "Do I feel affection for all the things that I need to do to achieve my goals?" I think the answer is no because if we enjoyed the process, we'd already have the things we want. I believe that we may not do certain things that may help us reach our goals because we are not certain what steps to take, but also out of fear of failure. "How can I gain more affection for the things that I have to do?" If we fill our hearts with an affectionate attitude, we can overcome obstacles without having to exhibit much effort at all. Lets try to show affection towards our enemies, we are all connected and to separate ourselves from others is a foolish undertaking. Lets live life with more affection. Let's work with other people and try to figure why we are here and what our purpose is, rather than looking for ways to seek revenge on others.

HIGHER

Higher: Of great vertical extent.
I love the idea of  having something raised higher: Higher level, Higher ground, Higher salary. Even TV can be raised to High Definition. I think that we owe it to ourselves to live life on a higher level. I like the idea of climbing higher and higher up the mountain of success. We should raise our relationship status with people to reach a higher level and we should continue to raise our lives to a higher quality of life. I strive to continue to enjoy a higher quality of life and part of that includes learning more. I continue to learn more about science and technology and how to be a better educator. The questions I ask myself are :"How do I set higher standards for myself and achieve them?"also "How do I attain a higher quality of life and enjoy the process?"
I believe that everything that you are after in life can be achieved through your drive and perseverance. You don't have to be alone in the journey towards success. I think its good to role model the right people and maintain healthy relationships with others. Setting higher standards is easy to do when you see that the end result is important enough.

TRIUMPH

Triumph: A great victory or achievement
"What are the great Triumphs in your life?" Triumphs can be big or small, but they are important nonetheless. For me, signing for my home was a great Triumph, because as long as I can remember, I wanted to have a family in a nice home. I couldn't ask for a better home than the one I have. I couldn't ask for a better wife or son either. Finishing my teacher certification and getting my Masters degree were also great Triumphs in my life. Education has always been important to me along with a healthy happy marriage and family. Personal growth in my job is a personal Triumph for me as well. "What is a problem that you want to turn in to a personal Triumph?" This is an important question to ask because it will help with personal growth. For me, I'd like to be more outgoing. I have no fear of public speaking, but I'm not good at engaging others in conversation. That is something I'd like to get better at. It's important to look at your personal goals and continue to make progress, so that  when you achieve you goal, you see it as a triumph. Then you can move on to the next goal and have a new triumph. Imagine what it will feel like when you achieve that goal. Fill your life with winning situations. Look at your life as a Triumph.

REWARD

re·ward
/riˈwôrd/

Verb: Make a gift of something to (someone) in recognition of their services, efforts, or achievements.
Noun: A thing given in recognition of service, effort, or achievement.

Live a life that's rewarding. That is more important than anything else I can think of. "What are the Rewards that you are receiving in your life?" I have great rewards in my life. My son and my wife are most rewarding. I'm very grateful that I married the right woman and have the life that I have. My home is more beautiful than any place I've ever lived before. I have a job with people who help me each day and I have a car that doesn't break down. I also have family and friends who are close by and willing to lend a helping hand. These are great rewards in my life that I like to consider myself lucky to have. If everyday we can think of the things that are most rewarding to us, we can really build our life to the next level. "What is a Reward that you received in the past that you truly felt good about earning?" When I was in high school I can remember being part of a 4*1 relay team. I was the anchor of the team. I had a half second lead going in to the final turn. I felt the competitor behind me breathing down my neck. People were cheering and hollering and my adrenaline was pumping. They had to pull out a piece of tape because the race was so close. I can't tell you how relieved I was to be the first to hit the tape. I remember receiving a necklace for winning the race. It was such a proud moment for me. I felt that I was part of a team and I had been a part of a great victory. Try to look for moments in your own life that were great victories that you were a part of and build off of the wins that you have in your life. Life is beautiful when you can see your life as a win and find evidence in your life to back that up.

EMPOWERMENT

Empowerment is a great trait to have. "What makes you feel really Empowered?" For me, Empowerment comes from learning and building knowledge. Over the past 5 years I have learned more and made much better choices for myself. Getting my masters in General Special Education and getting certified in teaching has helped me to build a real future for my family. I like to stay involved in karate training as well because I want to improve my body and my mind. I like to stay active and staying active keeps me alert. It's exciting to feel empowered because it helps to continue to make progress on your goals. It's empowering to look at your goals daily and keep looking for books or CD's or just supportive people that will help you make progress towards your goals. "What can you do to keep that feeling of Empowerment everyday?" Everyday I feel its important to remember your friends and family and keep your connections with these people. To be empowered doesn't mean you have to be serious all the time. I think it's important to be able to laugh at yourself and not take everything so seriously. I feel that I am empowered because I remember times where I was at my best: When I made it on to student council, when I became a Dale Carnegie coach and conquered my fears of speaking in front of an audience. I now feel comfortable on stage and ready to motivate others. Try to remember the times when you were  able to empower yourself in a positive way. Use that pwer to gain momentum towards your goals.

HEALTH

Health should always be at the forefront of our thinking about goals. If we don't have our health, nothing else will have value for us. A healthy outlook on life is important as well. We need to see things with an optimistic attitude. Sometimes we feel the progress being made and that is we can set power forth. But "How do we keep our lives healthy on a daily basis?" I don't think this needs to be a big thing, but you should make an effort everyday to do the little things. Taking a walk with my son keeps me feeling good. Eating fruits and vegetablesme energized as well. But its also important to read and learn and take in some personal development as well as learning something new each day. Each day you should focus on making something a little better. "What can we do each day to make our lives healthier than the day before?" Good question, but fortunately I have the answer. The answer is to surround yourself with love. Appreciate the loving people in your life. Keep in touch with friends and look for activities that you love to do and set aside some time to do them. Also it's healthy to have goals and continue to make progress towards those goals. I remember when I first signed up for karate and it seemed like I was going to stay a blue belt forever, but I kept at it, I followed through and I achieved my goal of black belt. Make sure that you keep at your goals and you will feel the benefits of seeing these goals through to the end. This is the key to making your life healthy and happy. Be thankful for this life you have and keep yourself in good health.

TERRIFIC

Making life Terrific. That is our goal. Today was a beautiful day. Everyone I love is healthy and good, so there's no reason this day shouldn't be considered a Terrific day. This is a good mantra to say each morning. Wake up everyday and say "I feel Terrific, I feel Terrific.." You can fool you brain into feeling Terrific. I've done it and I continue to practice this mantra each morning. Keeping in the spirit of goal setting, I want you to ask the question, "What is Terrifc about my Goals?"  Also, make sure to ask "Why will achieving these goals make me feel Terrific?"
My goals include:
1. Getting certified as a teacher in general special education
2. Getting my second degree black belt
3. Swimming with the dolphins
4. Make a movie seen by millions of people

For me, the Terrific thing about my goals are that they involve new experiences and keep me connected to others in a loving way. Achieving these goals will improve my quality of life and add more adventure.

OPTIMUM

Optimum: 1. adjective: Most conducive to favorable conditions. 2. noun: The most favorable conditions or level for growth or success.
"Do I have conditiions in my life that are favorable for success?" "What are my current conditions and how do I make them better?" I feel good about having favorable conditions for growth or success in my life. It's important to remember the things that surround us that help us move towards a better life. As I waved goodbye to my wife and son this morning, I thought about the blessings I have in my life that I sometimes take for granted. I have a great job and I look forward to next year. I have a beautiful home and family. And even though I have a big lawn to mow, I feel great after I'm able to complete that task. I'm starting to have fun with the lawn mowing process. I am looking forward to the summer. Also I got a free radio and some free frames the school I work at. This will be great to put up baby pictures and for camping we can have music. So I feel that the conditions in my life are good. I can make things better by just appreciating what I have and feel good about taking on new challenges.

ENERGY

All living things require energy. The source of most energy for life on earth is the sun. Energy is what makes us go. Energy exists in many forms: it can be heat, light, kinetic but there is also potential energy. Energy can transform into another form. We have to transform our potential energy into kinetic energy. We need to move out bodies and our minds to live to our potential. But "How do we build our energy level to achieve our goals and make progress?" "How do we create energy to make more money and create more success?" I believe we can create energy by trying something new. By breaking up a pattern and doing something off beat. Energy comes from building healthy relationships, and exercise and taking care of ourselves emotionally spiritually and physically. I think that through the right focus we can build up our energy and continue to make progress to our goals. I can see my goals coming into focus. I think its important to take time to reflect and see the progress that has been made so far in our lives.

NOW

All that we have is NOW. This moment. "What do we want this moment to be about?" "What is great about Now?" If we keep asking ourself what we want this moment to be about, we can come up with some great answers. I would like this moment to be about joy and connection and love. The great thing about Now is that we can make this moment whatever we want it to be. We can create our own meaning for each moment. We can say that the reason we are here is to make a difference. We can find joy in the little things. We can make every person we see feel appreciated and loved. Now is the time.

OPENNESS

I hope I spelled that right. Anyway, when we hear about something being open, we think of that as something good and welcoming: An open posture, open arms, an open door, etc. I like to think of being open to new opportunities. I feel that being open to things allows for great things to fall into your lap. Let's think about this "How do I make myself more open to opportunities?" This is an important question because we want to be a part of big opportunities when they come our way. When my current job came along, that was a great opportunity for me. It was such a breath of fresh air. When I met my wife, that was the greatest opportunity I ever had for love and for a family of my own and I am so grateful that she came along. I think it's good to consciously think about being open to everything that comes along. Lets think about this "Is there an event coming up in my life that I could be more open to?" I think we all have things coming up that we know that we have to do that we may be less than thrilled about having to do, but think about how to be open to the possiblities that could be presented. Maybe you'll learn something new or maybe you'll get inspired by someone or something. If we are open to what lies ahead, we can make the future beautiful.

NEWNESS

A great way stay motivated towards your goals is to see each moment as a fresh new moment. Everyone loves something new. New and Improved products make us pick up the phone and dial. The reality is we usually have something just like the new product and it just needs a few adjustments or it's stored in a closet or basement somewhere. Let's ask be sure to ask the question "What is new in my life?" For me, my son is new and beautiful and wonderful and he teaches me something new everyday. Working with children 5 days a week reminds me of my youth and gives me a fresh new feeling. My awesome blog is new for me and I can use this to help me with my goals. Which leads to the question "How can I fill my life with new experiences to keep me motivated in achieving my goals?" It's important to switch things up. I don't know about you, but I've had days where I'm driving down a route and I'm headed the wrong way because I'm used to the pattern of travelling this way, maybe forgetting that I don't have to go to work. Lets be sure to get out of those patterns and keep things new. Let's make sure that we make all things that we're reluctant to do (because there's so much work involved, or it's monotonous, etc.) feel like NEW. Make things feel new like a blank page or a fresh start. It's easy for me to do in the summer because everything is new.
Make things new and make our goals become a reality.

SIGNIFICANCE

Significance is the topic for today. When I think about significance, I tend to think about things I do that makes me feel important. I think the ultimate question is essentially "When we die, what will we be known for as our significant contribution?" I like to think that we are put here for a purpose and we need to fullfill our life's purpose before we go. So I ask, "What make me feel Significant?" I suppose for me there are a few things I can think of off the top of my head. Being a good husband and father is a goal that I strive for everyday. Being a good educator is important to me. Being a good friend to those in need as well. I think we all have to come to grips with the reality that we won't be around forever and think about the impact you have made on the lives of others. I think you can't go wrong with being generous and volunteering your time. I like to volunteer my time in the community. I've helped install wheelchair ramps and work on housing projects and that feels really good. The types of experiences that help me feel significant are doing things that feel good and that are good for me and for others as well as serve the greater good. I still have a dream of making a feature film and have it seen throughout the country. Maybe I'll never see that dream through, maybe I have another purpose. I like working on films and I have made a few short 35mm films in black and white. The nice thing is that films last long after we're gone and it's a great way to reach people. I get excited just talking about filmmaking. Anyway, let's make sure to hold on to things that make us feel significant. Lets not give up our dreeams. Let's be creative and ask for help from our higher power, whether you refer to that power as God or the Universe. I know there is a higher power because everything has a reason for existing. That's just how it is. If you have found out what makes you significant and see that it serves a higher purpose and that you will be remembered for it when you're gone, then your assignment is complete. If not, think about the positve impact that you have on others and how that makes you feel significant and important enough that you will be remembered for it after you are gone.

INSPIRATION

Today's topic is Inspiration. Or should I say: Inspiration! My question is, "Where does Inspiration come from?" also "How can one stay Inspired while going through the everyday routines?" It's important to break out of the funk of the everyday routine and become inspired. I was inspired to put this blog together. It was more for me than for other people, but I hope other people read my blog. It's nice to know there are people out there. Anyway, I'm looking for inspiration this summer. I'm looking to become inspired to do something creative or go somewhere and experience all the beauty around me. I want to be inspired creatively. I want to ignite my passion and find answers. Inspiration is wonderful. Especially when we feel that we're getting close to our goals and we feel ourselves shaping the life that we want. Sometimes Inspiration is right there. You don't even have to think about it and a situation presents itself. It's a great feeling to reach people. The best type of Inspiration occurs when you are able to reach people and touch people's lives. When everything is in place, it's almost magical. We've all had these moments. Inspiration comes from our source energy inside us. We all have a gift of some kind. I truly believe we all have a gift or a unique ability. There are things that we can each do well that we don't even have to think about. When other people see us doing this, they are astounded by it. You must have had moments like this. Your inspiration comes from your ability to tap into your source energy and act upon it. I think that Inspiration should come naturally, it shouldn't be forced.
For your assignment, I'd like you to think of a time that you were Inspired. Think about the other factors involved around this Inspiration. Think about people that Inspire you. Think about what inspires you and how you can get more of those special feelings. Come up with a page and refer to it when you need to be inspired. I have certainly had teachers and friends that have inspired me and I feel great when these moments come into focus for me.
Lets get Inspired! Let's find out what inspires us and make it a part of our reality.

HAPPINESS

Today's topic will be Happiness. First I will ask some questions to get you thinking in terms of being happy . Then we will talk about how this relates to your goals, then I will give you an assignment to get you on track towards your goals using Happiness as your guide.
The questions to ponder today are: "How do we fill our lives with happiness and share that happiness with others." and "How do we keep our Happiness level high when we don't get what we ask for?"
Filling our lives with happiness should be the goal of everyone everyday. Sometimes we get negative people barking at us and this effects our state instantly. My advice would be to think of what we can learn from negative people. Maybe they have some stress in their lives, or maybe there was something that I should do differently so that you can get better results.
I have goals that I set for myself that I want to make progress towards. I really like to be creative and make videos and I want to share the fun I have making movies with other people.
I want to make happy moments out of every situation. It is good to be flexible with each event and find the joy in an event regardless of whether it is something you asked for or not.

Here's an exercise you can try, the next time you are involved in an event that you don't like or if you wish you were somewhere else, think of what could happen to build up your happiness level. If you are firing off at a 3, think of how you can raise the happiness level to a 6. Maybe if you are doing paperwork, you could put on some music you like, or something like that. Try to raise a level 3 happiness level to an 8. That can be your assignment. I try to keep the assignments relatively simple because I deon't ask people to do things that I'm not willing to do myself.
Ok., that's it. Now go out their and share your happiness with others. Do things that you love and find happiness in the things you don't love but need to do.

CREATION

Today's topic of discussion is Creation. The question is "How do we create what we want for our lives?" "How do we create something that has value to us and to others throughout the world?" I think these are useful questions because we ultimately want to live the life of our dreams and being able to create something of value to us and others would fullfill that dream. I think it's important to have dreams. It's important to keep thinking bigger than your present circumstances. Everything that you have today began as a thought and now it has manifested into your life. I believe the best way to create something that has value to others throughout the world is to do what you love and feel passionate about. You can touch people on an emotional level when you do something that is true to you. I remember when I was in charge of a media department at a high school in New Hampshire. I made videos for sporting events and for graduation ceremonies and I really felt good about the work that I had produced. I really felt that I had created something of value through my videography.
Tomorrow, when you get up in the morning, try to think of a time where you were really passioate about something and you created something really meaningful to you. Think how it made you feel and think of the impact it had on other people. I believe our purpose in life is to create things that have lasting value. Think of making a positive difference by creating.

ALLOWANCE

When we talk about allowance, I'm not talking about getting paid each week to rake leaves and clean your room. What I'm referring to are the things that we allow into our lives.
The questions surrounding this issue are: "What am I allowing into my life that I want more of?" also, "If I don't have what I want, what can I do or how can I change my thinking to allow these things into my life?"
For myself, I would say the things that I'm allowing into my life that I want more of include more moments with my family. I enjoy being a father and I enjoy being a husband. I am grateful for where we live and I want to continue to earn more to grow and expand my life. I enjoy sumer and I want to feel that same type of energy and enthusiasm for life in the summer when winter comes around. I enjoy summer because everything feels alive and growing and things feel good. I look forward to my son being old enough to start walking and be more aware of the things around him. I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning. I also want to travel and swim with dolphins and make movies and I want to welcome in opportunities for growth and change so that these things can happen in my life.
I feel that if we continue to think of the things that we want and the things that we are currently attracting that we like, we can condition ourselves to attract more of the things we want and attain the things that we do not yet have. When you have enough faith that you can attract what you want in life and continue to grow and achieve more, then you are setting yourself up for a great life that is full of moments that you want and full of people that you want to surround yourself with.
Try to think of things in your life  that you are currently attracting into your life that you want more of. Think of all the positive feelings or events or material things or lucky finds, etc, that you may have forgot about that ar really wonderful gifts in your life at the present moment. Now think of all the things that you want to have happen in your life and imagine how you'll feel when they show up in your life. Think of how far you've come in your life over the past 5 or 10 years. Tink of all the successes that you've had. Think of yourself as a magnet attracting what you want into your life. The House, The Friends, The Places you want to go, the things you want to do and feel the victory everyday. Feel youself getting closer to wat you want everyday. That's the only way to win the game of life is to think of all the great things you have and all the great things you're going to get.
I hope this is helpful. Even if you don't yet believe it, keep telling yourself that you are attracting all good things and you'll see these things show up in your life. This exercise is worth doing. Give it a try.

EXCITEMENT

Today's topic is Excitement. Let's tackle the important questions surrounding this issue. First of all, "How do we stay excited for life on a daily basis?" and "How do we stay excited about our goals when we don't feel like we're making any progress towards them?
I think it's important to keep your excitement level high. It connects you to other people and it's infectous. On my drive to work this morning, I did not have that high level of excitement. I actually was remembering someone that really got me upset and I could feel myself becoming more upset as I thought about it. The truth is, it's easy to get to that negative place. In the morning it happens for me in no time flat. But I want to be excited for life on a daily basis. I want to wake up everyday feeling like it's Christmas morning. My son's smiling face and my wife's positive attitude help me get to that place, but sometimes you just have to fake enthusiasm until you have enthusiasm. Everyday it is important to remember your goals and think about something you can do each day to help you attain that goal. Sometimes the answer is clear. For me, if I want to get my second degree black belt, I have to start showing up for class. If I want to make a movie, I have to think up the movie that I want to make and get a team of people together and make it. Sometimes just telling other people about our goals can help us feel excited about them. I feel that moving and exercising can help us get our energy and enthusiasm up. Looking for positive people can help our energy level stay up and our excitement stay on a high level. Tomorrow on the way to work, I will try to think of all the things that I am excited about and all the things that I will be excited about once I achieve them. I suggest the same strategy for you. There is something exciting in each activity if we look for it. There can be variety in every moment, we just have to look at the big picture and see what our current actions are going to give us. When we know that we are doing something that will help us with our future goals, that is pretty exciting. Finishing my certification in teaching is exciting, especially when I think about how close I am and how far I've had to come. Let's feel the victory today and everyday. Let's be excited!

PERFECTION

Today's topic is Perfection. Specifically "How do we achieve perfection?" or "At what point did I feel that I was in a perfect moment and how do I get that feeling again?"
I like to think when we ask these questions, we get answers that we truly want.
When I looked up 'Perfect' in the dictionary, the first definition read: 1. Without any flaws or mistakes.  This is the definition we are all most familiar with, I'm sure, but the next definition read 2. To succeed at something with effort in making something work well. I like to think of this definition when thinking of perfect. Striving for perfection is a great trait to have. True, there are moments in our lives that are perfect moments. For me, the birth of my son was a perfect moment. Proposing to my wife was a perfect moment. Purchasing a home was a perfect moment. I feel it's important to remember the perfect moments, because that can help us feel better about the moments that weren't so perfect. I like to think of the dictionary's 2nd definition for 'Perfect' because I like to think of perfect moments as times when at first you failed, but then came back and conquered the task making it a perfect moment. I remember I tried out for lifeguard training. The first time I tried to take the test I got tired and got a lung full of water and I was so embarrassed, I walked right out. But then some time later, I started taking swim lessons, I started training and I went back and aced that test and I am still a certiified lifeguard to this day. Passing that test was a perfect moment for me. Another time I tested for my black belt in karate. I was nervous because I knew that I would have to do some sparring. When it came time to do some sparring, my sensei kept sending people up against me. I must have had 4 different people sparring against me and at one point I leaned in and got a shot right at my eye, but I was so pumped full of adrenaline I didn't really notice. It was a perfect moment for me because I felt confident and strong and not afraid. I felt like I could take on anything.
Try to think of moments in your life that you were able to conquer something. Maybe there's somthing in your life that isn't perfect, but making the best of something can lead to a perfect moment. Remember the things that make you feel strong and fill you life with blessings. Remember the perfect moments and how it felt in you heart to have that moment. Life should be full of these positive moments.

GREATNESS

Todays topic is GREATNESS.
Each day I like to present a topic and ask questions to help find answers that stimulate and motivate people's way of thinking.
The questions I wanted to present today are, "How do you make your life great?" and "How can you feel great on a daily basis?"
I feel that just asking the questions can stimulate my mind and get me feeling better about my own life. I don't have all the answers of course. I can only share from my personal experience, but I would say one way to make your life great is to sharpen your ideas about goal setting and set up goals for yourself that you can achieve.
I think it's good to set goals for the week, for the month and for the year and chart your progress towards those goals.
I have short term and long term goals of my own.
My goals include
1. Getting certified as a teacher in general special education
2. Getting my second degree black belt
3. Swimming with the dolphins
4. Make a movie seen by millions of people

Some goals can be achieved in the short term and some take longer. I think you truly achieve greatness in your life when you begin to live your dream rather than just dream your dream. I believe the first step to greatness is to plant the seeds of greatness. Think about what you want and how great you feel when you get what you want. I know that goals work because I had previous goals of: getting married, receiving a black belt in karate, becoming a father and living in a four bedroom house. I have these things in my life right now and I know that it is not just luck that I've been able to have these things appear in my life. It will be interesting to check back on these 4 goals that I've just shared in a year from now to see how these things manifest in my life. I definitely believe that you can manifest what you want in your life by thinking of what it is you want to attract in your life. Greatness comes from being who you are and being honest about what you want. Doing the little things everyday eventually adds up to one big thing.
I love video editing and I loved going to a film academy to study film. It is my dream to make films and that is a dream that will never die. My greatness comes from realizing what I want and having faith that the universe will give it to me. In answer to the question "How can you feel great on a daily basis?" I think the answer is just to realize you are on the path and always on the path. Everything that has happened is giving you information about how to get from here to there. Greatness means knowing that you have to learn and contribute and improve 1% everyday. If you can improve 1% a day physically, spiritually and financially, you will feel greatness thrust upon you. You'll be able to see it and feel it.
Thank you for listening to one man's ramblings. I hope you were able to get something out of this. I appreciate any feedback you might have for me. I may not have all the answers, but I'm at least searching and that is an important step in the journey.
